Welcome to Herménégilde Tell's house, at 54 rue Madame Payé. You are stepping into a Creole house built at the end of the nineteenth century. It belonged to a prominent Guianese, father-in-law to the future Governor General Félix Éboué. This house is not just a building: it is a witness to Cayenne life around 1900.
For the next twenty-five minutes, you will explore six spaces, in any order you wish. At each step, scan the QR code and choose your language.
